Since its opening in March of 2007, Seocho Appletree has enjoyed considerable success within the
community. We first began with three Classes and approximately 20 students, and have now expanded
into four classes. We have two foreign teachers and six Korean teachers working at our school.
As a relatively small institution in the process of growing, we offer a very warm and friendly
atmosphere, with a staff of dedicated and passionate teachers.
Our School is nothing short of beautiful, with cheerful, bright classrooms a gymnasium, library, media
room, music room, and a well-stocked storage room and teacher’s work room. We are located in the
southern part of Seoul (the Kangnam area). We have the good fortune to be in a dynamic and
interesting part of the city, where our foreign teachers thoroughly enjoy living and working in.
Our two current foreign teachers are from the United States of America. Foreign teacher housing is
typically located in or near the Kangnam area. Kangnam is an exciting place to live, with a bustling,
excellent Korean and international restaurants, movie theatres, and shops.
Teachers who are professional, committed, and who love working with young children can find a
